About Fuel Cafe Bar
Built in 56 BC*, Fuel is Withington’s finest vegetarian cafe. A cracking little establishment - a space to eat and drink and generally be very merry.The venue has established itself as an epicenter for artists, poets, musicians and great food, priding themselves on a relaxed atmosphere, good soundtrack and community feel that never fails to disappoint.
By day the cafe is alive with a great menu, simple but effective veggi fayre and very decent portions for the price. A good selection of bottled ales and ciders, Oreo milkshakes, hot drinks and smoothies.
By night the upstairs room plays host to any number of music, craft and comedy events. A beacon for the burgeoning music scene, hosting such nights as Debt Records, Cloud Sounds, Paradox and The Noise Upstairs. A worthy mention is the Tuesday night quiz, hosted by Manchester’s very own Richard Barry, definitely a highlight of the week if you can get a seat!
